Aprons - The New Black!

MB-Apron IndraNo matter what style, color, pattern or mood, aprons are hotter than ever, getting lots of exposure far beyond the kitchen and backyard barbecue. For a fresh, contemporary look, try Michele D’Amore’s BLEEKER STREET or IN COLOR. Traditionalists might prefer classic AUNT GRACE prints by Judie Rothermel, and her large-scale AUNT GRACE TIES ONE ON prints are a fun mix of both modern and vintage. Of course, pattern inspiration is equally plentiful; some of our favorites include French Flea Market Apron by Busy Bee, shown here in HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS (beautifully modeled by Indra, our customer service manager!) Or try Butterick B4945 (left sketch) or McCall’s M3979 (right sketch). Each of these popular patterns offers five different apron styles to choose from… So the question isn’t whether to sew an apron, but which style to sew first!
