Marcus Brothers is proud to announce that 2007 marks the 20th year of Judie Rothermel's unique influence on the quilting world!
Judie Rothermel has been a true innovator in the quilting industry, and we at Marcus Brothers are extremely proud of our long-standing design relationship with her. A noted authority on antique quilts and reproduction fabrics, Judie marks her 20th year in the quilting industry in the coming year!
She is probably best known for introducing quilters to the beauty of 1930's reproduction fabrics through her well-loved Aunt Grace series, the original (and still most popular) brand in the category today.
Over the years, Judie's background as an antique quilt historian, collector, designer and shop owner has given her a unique insight into the most traditional segments of the market. And she continues to educate and inspire quilters today, as the designer of our growing family of museum-inspired fabric collections, including collaborations with Old Sturbridge Village and the New England Quilt Museum. We congratulate Judie Rothermel for her many creative and business achievements and we invite you to join us in honoring Judie for her impressive body of work, and what it represents for her loyal group of devotees worldwide as well as a new legion of quilting enthusiasts.
