As the Eagle Flies...
As the Eagle Flies...Did you know that in traditional Americana art and textile designs, the positioning of the eagle's head has special significance?  In its talons, the eagle commonly holds a spring of wheat in one (signifying peacetime), and one or more arrows in the other (signifying a country at war).  You might notice that in Paula Barnes' new PAULA BARNES' AMERICA collection, the head of the large-scale eagle is intentionally turned toward the arrow, representing the hope for lasting peace throughout the world.
