Author
and designer JANET CARIJA BRANDT has published
numerous how-to books and patterns for hooked rugs, quilts, and
other crafts. She was named among the top 200 craftspeople by Early
American Life magazine, and is the author of WOW!

CARM
JOHNSON started her first quilt at 18 years of age, a king
size quilt made with sandpaper templates, then hand quilted! Carm
then spent 15 years working in the less creative credit card
processing industry prior to trying her hand at quilting again. For
the past 10 years she has been quilting and actively promoting
quilting in and around the Omaha, NE area. |
GLENDORA
SIMONSON is an accomplished quilt designer and educator.
Glendora’s teaching credits include quilting courses through the
Arts Workshop at the Newark Museum in Newark, NJ. At the urging of
her equally enthusiastic students, the class meetings continued and
eventually became the basis for the Nubian Heritage Quilt Guild,
based in Montclair, NJ. Glendora specializes in a wide range of
quilt techniques and styles. Her first piece for Marcus Fabrics
utilized the SURFACES:
GREY TO BLACK collection. Look for this project in an upcoming

CAROLYN
HALT is an expert quilt designer whose work regularly
graces the pages of The
Quilter magazine as well as our trade show booths and our online
Quilt Gallery We’ve come to rely on her keen sense of design,
playing up the best features of a fabric collection for maximum
appeal, from quilts to place settings and more. |
DONALYN
MASON (better known as Donie) is a former accountant who,
after 25 years, followed her passion to become a professional
quilter! She owns a quilting school in Utah, and provides custom
quilting services with her Gammill quilting machine. Donie prides
herself on fast, high quality service, and will soon offer classes

VANDARRA ROBBINS is a designer and sewing
instructor based in New Jersey. Through her company, The Couture
Hand, she creates custom clothing and home furnishings for a varied

LAURA
FARSON designed many pieces for our best-selling Gingham
Gardens line as well as several other quilts. Her second book,
