"What a gorgeous quilt! Who made it. . .?"

Here you'll find interesting information about some of our creative partners, from quilt and craft designers to quilting supply manufacturers. Where possible, we've included their email addresses or website links for handy reference.

WOW! Wool-on-Wool Folk Art QuiltsAuthor and designer JANET CARIJA BRANDT has published numerous how-to books and patterns for hooked rugs, quilts, and other crafts. She was named among the top 200 craftspeople by Early American Life magazine, and is the author of WOW! Wool-on-Wool Folk Art Quilts. (Martingale & Co.)

CARM JOHNSON started her first quilt at 18 years of age, a king size quilt made with sandpaper templates, then hand quilted! Carm then spent 15 years working in the less creative credit card processing industry prior to trying her hand at quilting again. For the past 10 years she has been quilting and actively promoting quilting in and around the Omaha, NE area.

GLENDORA SIMONSONGLENDORA SIMONSON

Glendora specializes in a wide range of quilt techniques and styles. Her first piece for Marcus Fabrics utilized the SURFACES: GREY TO BLACK collection. Look for this project in an upcoming issue of McCall’s Quilting magazine!
