You’ll Need |
- One print 10 inches x 16 inches, or a
pieced section of R22
FLORAL DIMENSIONS
- One print for lining, same size
- One zipper, longer than 9-1/2 inches (it
will be cut to size)
- Remnant of cotton batting, 10 inches x 16
inches.

- Quilt the fabric as desired, using a
cotton batting. Trim the piece to 9-1/2 inches x 15-1/2
inches.
- For the loop: Cut a remnant measuring
1-1/2 inches wide x 6 inches long. Fold the long sides in
to the center, and then fold in half lengthwise again. Sew
long side. Fold the loop in half and pin to the center at
the top edge of the long side of the cosmetic case.
- To insert zipper: Fold under and press
short sides of case. Place zipper underneath the two sides
and stitch down each side.
- Cut lining fabric to the size of the
case. Sew lining to case by machine; if desired, sew by
hand along the zipper tape.
- Turn inside out and sew the top along the
top centering the loop in the middle.
- Fold the bag the other way (to form a
triangle) and sew the bottom edge. Trim off zipper end.
Turn right side out.
