onto 36 fabric E, F, G and H squares.
- The quilt is sewed together in 6 rows of 6 bay leaf
squares. Refer to the diagram for correct placement of
fabrics and direction of bay leaf appliqué squares with the
4 fabric C and fabric I squares in the rows. Sew the rows
together to complete the center of the quilt
- Sew two bay leaf fabric F and fabric H squares together,
then sew a fabric B strip to each end of the squares. Make
4. Center on each side of the quilt center and sew in place.
Miter the corners, matching the stripe, and trim away excess
fabric.
- Sew the fabric D vertical borders to the quilt sides and
the fabric D horizontal borders to the top and bottom of the
quilts. Repeat with the fabric I borders.
- Center and sew the fabric A 84” borders to one side of
the quilt with an equal amount of border fabric overlapping
at each end. Repeat for each side of the qult. Miter the
corners and trim away excess fabric.
