Fabric Requirements:

Fat quarters of each of the following:
J056-126D, J057-123D, J057-113D, J056-138D, J058-126D, J058-141D, J058-151D, J059-141D, J059-126D, J060-116D, J061-116D, J061-126D, J061-151D, J072-126D, J072-141D, J072-138D
Border Strips: 1 Yard J061-151D
1ST Border: 1/2 Yard J061-151D
Outer Border and Binding: 1 1/2 Yard J056-126D

Cutting Instructions:

Cut all fat quarters as follows:
(2) 8" strips then crosscut these strips into
(1) 2-1/2 x 8, (1) 4-1/2 x 8, (1) 6 x 8, (1) 8-1/2 x 8

Border Print:

Fussy-cut your strips to assure the green strip runs through the center. Strips should measure 7-3/8".
1st Border: Cut 6 - 2" strips
Last Border: Cut 7 - 4" strips and 7 - 2-1/4 strips for binding

Block Assembly:

It is important to put all the rows together before adding the border print strips. Measure your pieced rows to assure an accurate length to cup you border print strip. The fun thing about this quilt is that each row can be assembled differently; play around with the layout of these blocks. This is how the quilt in the photo was put together:

Adding Borders:

Join the 2" green strips end to end. Measure the quilt top from top to bottom. Cut 2 strips the measurement that you just took; sew these strips add to each side of your quilt top. Measure again from side to side and cut 2 strips this measurement; sew these to the top and bottom. Repeat this step for the last border. Quilt and bind as desired.
